Minneapolis is more beautiful than people expect — especially in April.
A note for out-of-towners — April in Minneapolis is not spring in the way you might hope.
Expect temperatures around 40–50°F, with a real chance of rain or late-season snow. Pack a proper coat (not just a light jacket), waterproof shoes, and layers you can peel off indoors. The good news: the Skyway system means you can get around a lot of downtown without ever braving the cold.
