🌿 Take a Break from the Convention Center

Minneapolis is more beautiful than people expect β€” especially in April.

πŸ§₯ What to Pack

A note for out-of-towners β€” April in Minneapolis is not spring in the way you might hope.

Expect temperatures around 40–50Β°F, with a real chance of rain or late-season snow. Pack a proper coat (not just a light jacket), waterproof shoes, and layers you can peel off indoors. The good news: the Skyway system means you can get around a lot of downtown without ever braving the cold.

Also worth knowing: the conference dates overlap with Passover (April 1–9) β€” PLA has resources for attendees observing the holiday, available at placonference.org.
